ATPP’s new Board of Directors is elected (2018-2020)

The Peruvian Association of Professional Translators  (ATPP), the longest-standing professional association of translators in Peru, elected on Saturday, May 5, its new Board of Directors, which will represent it for the next two years.

María Rosario Ocampo Cayo, Gloria Mercedes Cabrejos Koo, Marianela Quintero Figueroa, and Belinda Luz Alva Choy will assume the positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer, respectively. After the election, the president-elect said: “I would like to express my great satisfaction with the steady and uninterrupted progress of the ATPP in achieving its institutional goals”.

The Peruvian Association of Professional Translators (ATPP) was founded on April 22, 1992 in Lima, Peru, by a select group of professional translators and interpreters with the purpose of institutionally strengthening the profession of translators and interpreters for the benefit of both, these professionals and the users of translation and interpreting services.
